The sumo guidance dog is a project by Ilya Belder and Alex Slutsky, created at the University of Haifa, under the guidance of Dr. Dan Feldman and Dr. Rita Osdachy.

 

The project utilizes a Parrot Sumo robot and uses algorithms which rely on opencv to follow a yellow line, which was specially laid out to help vision impaired individuals at the university of haifa.
